After the Great Wars, the United States collapsed, and the new world order took place. Due to the experimentation and the torture that took place for the hundreds of years afterwards, humans began to evolve, and soon enough, the new world order decided to split society into two castes: Upper-class, and Lower-class. On your 17th birthday, by law, every child from both caste systems were required to attend the yearly ceremony.
Maeve Mason had been from a lower-class family, learning the ropes of society at a very young age. All of her life she kept her head down. At the yearly ceremony, something occurs that changes Maeve's life forever, and, for the worst.
