The Epizootic

In the year 3000, an incurable plague rushes over North America. In the year 3002, the plague is sent to South America, and the scared, small amount of survivors become crazed. With the plague slowly creeping overseas, the rest of the world struggles as they frantically try to find a cure to this Epizootic.

Scientists begin to argue, and the rest world begins to crack as people run around, crazed with fear.

Weakness due to fear ignite a raging war between countries. Billions of people fight out of fear for their lives and their families'.

By the year 3010, the war had ended, but the bacteria causing the plague mutated. Now, the billions of people infected weren't dying, instead becoming hosts to the bacteria.

With over half of the world population infected, the rest of the survivors gathered, and created an underground society in New York City.

To keep order in this society, every child at the age of sixteen must leave their homes and travel above ground for the first times in their lives. There, they are taken to a special camp to train for six years to ultimately destroy the plague and save their planet.

This is the story of Zaneta Burgeon, a sixteen year old girl who is taken from her family to be trained as a cold hearted solider. The only question for her is; will she make it?
