"..Imagine a world in which your brain disagrees with your eyes. What you see in your reflection is so obscenely hideous you almost can't bring yourself to leave the house. The way your clothes cling on your body offends you in such a way that your skin feels as if it is burning, setting ablaze the places your tears touch as a match does when in contact with gasoline. Your hair, your face, your skin; all victims on which to inflict the not so gentle caress of your nails as the panic sets in. The breath escapes your lips in desperate gasps, but it does not return.

Exhausted is a story encompassing the life of a girl with Body Dysmorphic Disorder. What will happen when she's sent off to a rehab facility, only to fall in love with boy whose big blue eyes conceal the 18 years of torture that preceded?
