The humans sealed the monsters underground with a magic spell, after a long war many long ago and thats where they stayed until about a hundred years ago. Frisk was a good friend of mine, despite the age gap. About a week ago, they disappeared, only recently found. It wasn't long for Monsters to return as well. I, in all honestly, am scared. The world will be changing, and change never comes easy. Frisk seemed happy, though, in fact so far it's been okay. Frisk introduced me to all the monsters, becoming great friends with many of them, in fact... I've even fallen for one. Undertale: War of The Souls
Many years have passed since the war between the humans and monsters. The humans won, and shut the monsters in a place called the underground. Keeping them there with a magical barrier, it took seven usable souls to shatter the barrier, but being monsters, their souls didn't work. Instead, they had to use human souls to break the barrier, and even then, humans were not likely to fall in. Because the human waste system ends up in the underground, the monsters are informed of what's going on up on the surface, and have developed human-like lifestyles, which included scholarship, friendships and the like, but it seemed, that the monsters were eager to get back on the surface again. Six humans were unlucky enough to fall into the underground, and the leader of the monsters, Asgore Dreemurr killed these humans to use their souls for removing the barrier. Asgore thought that those humans were the only ones that would fall in, but he was wrong. Two more humans fell in, but their souls were lost before Asgore could even use them, and those soulless ghosts were doomed to haunt the underground. Now playing the waiting game, Asgore patiently waited another human to fall, and fall it would. (Sorry! No Muffet or Grillby in this one!)Завершенная история

Humans fear the monsters more then they did before and force them to live out of their city behind a wall. Frisk still has much to do though, as she and Asriel we accepted to go to school in the city while their brother, Branden, continues to train and protect all of Monsterkind.
