Dead Weight

Believing that he should be left for dead, the Okita boy by the name of 'Souji' sits in a prison cell, battered and bruised. Some years later, he has made a new friend by the name of Mura, who Souji renames 'Rei'.

After escaping, Souji and Rei travel across the world, both trying to make sense of the people who all look the same. Confused and lost, they don't know which way to go.

When just nearly getting killed by his own thought of suicide, Souji passes out just as a black haired man takes him somewhere. When waking up, Souji finds Rei gone once more, and being back in his cell.

Being behind the bars, an iron barricade, isn't nice. But, what's worse is a loophole. Escaping, traveling, almost dying, and back in prison...that's pretty much what has happened to Souji for the past 10 years.

During those past 10 years, Souji can't help but think about the reason why he was able to get a few months away during his first escape, whereas now, it's only an hour away....
