Ever since supernaturals became known to the human world it became pandemonium. Powerful people of the human race came together to negotiate with the main leaders of the supernaturals. 

An attempt to convince them to vanish again, to restore back peace amongst humans.  Agreeing to do so with one condition the leaders of the human race agreed to their condition. 

Three times a year supernaturals were to come out of hiding to search through the humans for their mates. 

Mating Day became a world wide holiday, some humans were thrilled while others weren't. Some were willing while others did everything they could to hid from supernaturals. An attempt to not be taken away from a life they knew.All Rights Reserved

Once the Crawlers wiped themselves out all that long ago, we thought it was over, that Humans would regain control of the planet and things would soon go back to normal. We were wrong. After another man tried to wipe out the human race, it was made apparent that even the original Crawlers may not have died out. They're more illusive than their ancestors, it is unclear whether this entails their danger or not.
