This is the story of Logan:
"You can come out, but only when you get your button eyes . . ."
Logan hadn't ever ventured outside of the basement, not since he was a young boy. It was because that basement was the only place he was ever allowed.
Until that one faithful day, his lovely mother came down and said he could go out, see the house and the world. But only if he got his Button Eyes . . .
Years later - he was let out into the world again, but with those button eyes.
Everything seemed new, pretty and perfect. It was all he'd ever dreamed of.
But people began to stop and stare, whisperings of,
'Don't stare!' and 'That poor boy.'
In those moments the world never seemed so cruel . . .
And it would only get worse.

The scent of the short teen used to have was gone, replaced with the putrid smell of death and rot that covered the whole room and the killer himself. Blood smudged all over the teen and onto the older man as he attempted to escape. He got hungry and tired. He just wanted to eat and then sleep. He was preparing the girl, cutting her body apart and tearing the flesh off the bones, which is why the room was such a mess with her blood. Now, he had the boy in his hands. The hunger overtook him.
