Semi never dreamed of love-she only wanted to survive. Juggling multiple jobs and keeping everyone at arm's length, she built walls too high for anyone to climb. Until Teo came along. Wealthy, persistent, and utterly smitten, he had no business chasing after a girl like her. Yet, he did. She let him stay-not because she believed in love, but because she liked his presence. And for the first time, someone made her feel like she wasn't just rust-like she could be something beautiful, like roses blooming through the cracks of her broken past. But when her violent father resurfaces, demanding the money she never spent, and the mother who abandoned her turns out to be tied to Teo's world in the worst way possible, Semi is forced to confront the reality she tried to escape. A painful betrayal, a cruel promise, and a desperate choice threaten to pull them apart. Yet, Teo refuses to let go. Even when she runs. Even when she breaks. Even when she tells him it's over. Because for Teo, Semi isn't just someone he loves-she's his home. And he'll do anything to keep her.
