youth's journal **SHORT VERSION**

the Journal of a young girl named Sally.
her mom drinks and does nothing, and one day she loses her job.
now, to help pay the bills, little Sally goes and works at a music shop.
she makes new friends, gains support and is happy once again.
that is, until one day her mom decides that Sally needs a beat down.
but, with her friend's help, Sally's dead-beat mother get's sent rehab.
her dad (who had left) takes her in.
you would think that it's a somewhat happy story right?
it is if you look past the fact that happiness can't bring back the dead.
