Basti ist 16 Jahre alt und ein Außenseiter in seiner Klasse. Doch kurz vor den Sommerferien entsteht eine Bindung zwischen ihm und einem Mädchen.
Er beginnt ununterbrochen an das Mädchen namens Ellie zu denken und es entsteht eine Freundschaft, die sie beide verbindet.
Doch als Basti eines Tages schwer enttäuscht wird, beginnt sich alles zu ändern und er beginnt über seine Vergangenheit und über die letzten sechs Monate nachzudenken.
Und kommt zu einem traurigen Ergebnis...

She goes to her mother's friend Marlene who helps her out by taking her to two smugglers, Joel and Tess, who are instructed to take her to a group of Fireflies who can reverse engineer a cure for the infected. Joel is in his late 40's, he was there when the apocalypse started and has suffered ever since, until he meets Ellie and his entire perspective on life changes. He finds that over time he begins to have feelings for Ellie, he wants to protect her and shelter her from this horrible life. Can Ellie and Joel save the world? Dillon hates his mate and waiting tell he is old enough to reject her. He dose what he can, ignores her, forgets her, because she is nothing but a pathetic human. Or so she thought... . . . "Get out of my head!" He yelled at me. I stood my ground, because I was here and was not leaving. "What's your problem with me?" I hissed.
