Everyone thinks Moon Rings and Moon Pools just because of Mako Mermaids and H2o Just Add Water, right?
Well that's crap.
You don't need a pool that bubbles to turn you into a half fish half human.
You don't even need a ring to control your magic.
The magic is inside you, you just have to release it.
In this book I am going to tell you all about real mermaids and how horrible it can be, but fun at the same time.
WARNING:
Do not call mermaids a siren, because mermaids hate that. Sirens kill, mermaids protect. See the difference?

A swim gone wrong causes my twin sister to begin to fear the water. She barely even touches it. I went missing when it happened, everyone thinks I drowned, and died.
