Samantha Hill has finally received a job opportunity at Waint Island off the coast of Australia. She has come to assist a businessman and his negotiations only to be met with the oppressive duty of traveling to some Maximum Security Prison and convincing obscure, unknown figures to agree with her. She simply wanted to get away, to see the world whilst also building monopolies. That's it, she agreed to nothing else. Instead she has been tossed into this world of mutiny and madness with no way out.

Note, I'm not incredibly experienced writing so feedback, including constructive criticism, is very welcome.All Rights Reserved

Beatrix doesn't live in a normal world. Not any more. Seventy-five years ago, the lights all over the world went out. And when they came back on, people with mind powers came forward to rule the former United States. Other countries figured out how to work with these people. But, in the new country of Avalon, those with powers were in power. Beatrix belongs to a group of rebels who want to over-throw the government. But, as Beatrix's responsibilities grow, it becomes apparent that one group just wants to take over for the other. She is unsure how she fits in. And how the new husband that was forced on her fits in to everything else.
