The first day of school, or the first day of high school for Dakoda. He is terrified of what being a freshman will bring to him. He expects to be shoved, teased, and tripped. He doesn't expect for him to trip all on his own. And in front of a cute boy too. That cute boy's name is Nile. And Nile and Dakoda get really close, really fast. They are together whenever they can be and people are noticing that they are touching in someway constantly. Holding hands, stroking each others arms when they're bored. But that's what really good friends do, right?
That's what they think a good friendship is until someone finally asks the question that students want to know. Are they dating? That one question leads them into a series of others. It leaves them wondering. Are they just friends? Are they more? Do they want that? And what happens when one doesn't?
Can they even label what they have?
