I didn't realize at first that those were going to be his last words... I never stopped to think that I wouldn't get another chance to call his name and have him throw his arms around me. I would never be able to tell him how much I loved him or how important he was to me, ever again. I couldn't even comprehend the thought of losing him. It's been seven years since that day and they haven't seen each other since.
