"Let me see your hand." She asked making me raises an eyebrow, "What?" I ask making her roll her eyes, "I said." As she grabs my hand and pulls it close, "Let me see your hand." Jack has lived in Norte Dame since he was a child, and his caregiver Judge Nevil has always told him that the outside world was a evil place where only the severs of Lucifer lived and sever. He even tells Jack that he should be lucky he doesn't live down there because of his powers, that God made him to sever only Nevil and to make him happy. But Jack had a secret, when Nevil would be gone for most of the day, he would sneak out of the Bell Tower and go into town to see the world, to be one of the human down there. And on one day, he ran into a girl, a gypsy girl. Elsa is a gypsy with the secret power of controlling ice. To everyone it's just a trick that most gypsy do to get some extra money. No one knew how she does it but she'd never tell, no reason to let people really believe she was a witch when really, she was just different and alone. That was until she meets the boy in the Bell Tower. Can Elsa and Jack fight through Judge Nevil, another man who wants to marry Elsa and half of Pairs trying to get rid of the gypsy people? Shawn Walsh... For someone who was the son of a cop, he didn't exactly play by the rules, he was a uncontrollable force like a hurricane, a tornado...a tsunami. Unlike Shane who tried to forcibly control Shawn's anger and desperation for love, attention and affection, Rick would hug him and tell him to let it out, he told him to break something, to scream, to cry...and that he'd be there for him every single time. At 22, Shawn had moved out, got an apartment and a job as a tattoo artist, he never inked himself because he had respect for his body, but he did enjoy drawing his art on other people. When Shane came to Shawn's tattoo shop to tell him the only man who was like an actual father to him, had been shot, he became enraged, he screamed as loud as his vocal cords would allow him, he threw chairs and anything else he could get his hands on at the wall. Yes, it is sad... I am not prone to drama like the rest of you. Our lives are encompassed with monotonous events, the usual really: eat, sleep, work, repeat. But honestly, am I complaining? I can, I could have... But the question remains, do I even have the energy to spark up a fire? We could be flowers, adorning ourselves to appear more attractive for the bees' ocellus. Or glow brighter than the sun to entice. But why go through all that hustle when we can just live through the eyes of another? Seems simpler enough anyway. Suck the adrenaline rush of the stunners. The ones that even with just a sneeze, the entire earth would shake, sprinting towards them. Their being, the forbidden tree, strutting at the centre of the Garden of Eden. Their souls, Magnetite. We could attempt. But I do not want to. I try as much as possible to stay away from the disease. As thrilling as it may be: he who will swallow the apple seed must consider the size of his stomach. So why spend a thousand back-breaking years thereafter mopping up the residue? Have the moles drag down your name into the pits with them. Surely, we are not that desperate, are we? Never eye the wife of thy neighbour in fear that she just might be a white fowl with beautiful feathers. So why can I not just stay in my lane? Why can't we? So join in, enter my mind and live out your most exciting reality through the eyes of others. Read it, watch it, envision it. Better than allowing life to feed us up with a spoon of chaos, attracting a series of tornadoes into our mundane worlds. And maybe, we might just fall in love.
