Welcome to Easthaven. It's small farm village located off the coast of the river known as Mundialis. Once a year, the village folk throw a festival in honor of Hrolleif, the legendary wolf who led the founder, Easthaven, to what now stands as Easthaven. In the middle of the settlement is where the Bresoht Tree resides, a large Willow tree where most of the town ceremonies take place. To the west of the tree lies Crescent House, the largest home in Easthaven. That is where a strange family lives. They are rarely seen within the village, and for what reason? Rumor has it that those people are creatures of the moon. To protect the village crops and cattle, the Lord and Lady (against the will of the Church) established Night Guard; specially trained knights that have the duty to protect the townsfolk during the night.

My Mother Runs With Wolves

51 parts Complete

A genetically unique but emotionally lost teenager must figure out who she is within her mixed-up, warring world of Shifters and Wolfstalkers. ***** It wasn't Maddie's choice to be born a half-breed, half Shifter, half Wolfstalker -- a hunter of Shifters -- and it wasn't her choice to keep her identity a secret. But after trying to attend high school like any normal sixteen-year-old, things quickly spiral south when her Stalker uncle finds out about her and catapults her out of anonymity and into the awareness--or possibly the crosshairs--of The Order of the Wolfstalker. Maddie must think fast and figure out a way to keep herself and her family safe, or risk losing everything. Including her life. [[word count: 70,000-80,000 words]]
