It's You Again God
Sometimes life can get so hectic that we fail to stop, take a breath and just be still. For years I have been committed to having a quiet time each day where I read the Bible and talk to God about what is on my heart, which has been really wonderful but it just struck me today as I began my quiet time that I need to take more time to LISTEN when God is trying to speak to me. When I am more open to Him leading my quiet time, it's so much better! God has so much He wants to say, so much He wants to teach me. You came into my life when i didn't know what love was. You made me realize this beautiful feelings. But when i asked if i can be by your side, you threw me away. I didn't want you to love me , I just wanted to be present in your life but maybe it was god's will. (It's a one sided pov story. Here you can only read porchay's side of story so dig in. Scripture Speaks
Reading God's Word is truly an enlightening, on-going experience; one that I truly enjoy. I began posting His Word in "My Highlighted Bible Verses" and couldn't stop. He started talking to me through Scripture, some of the messaging is beyond me, and still continues to be that way, although I am learning. I think He wants me to share His Word, if you can put up with some of my commentaries. This is all God's doing, and I don't take credit for any of it - He created me. My Letters to God.
"I feel like I'm going in circles. Like I'm stuck in a cycle and I can't seem to claw my way out of. It's feels like when I found my religion again I started grieving. Like all the things I've ever held in and ignored through others things are finally spilling out of me. It's something I need: to grieve but it's also scary because I've always ignored things for so long and lived with this self-loathing, ice hardening mask that it became a part of me. It isn't who I want to be though. I was heading down a soul damning path. Turning into someone I feared deep inside: Someone unworthy of love, being hugged gently by my parents -both earth and heaven one - Someone that deserved to rot in hell because Heaven is too good for me. I was worse than others. I felt numb, like no one else's sin compared to mines. Conceited huh? But it was like...God used that feeling - that fear I had of the end coming and going to hell - to bring me back to him. "Complete
