Nightwood Academy

Morgan doesn't look back as she guides me down the academy halls, inspecting her shiny white fangs in a small pink compact mirror. A tall, furry boy quite literally wolf whistles at her from where he stands at his locker, only to be ignored as she continues her tour.

"As I was saying, the witches are okay, I guess. The ghosts are quite helpful. Just stay away from the telepaths and -whatever you do- never, never date a werewolf boy."

April wants to live a normal life. She wants to study law, own several cats and drive an Audi. What she never wanted was to lure her boyfriend to his death.

Told for the first time that she's inherited her mother's siren abilities, she's forced to travel out to the reclusive Nightwood Academy to learn to control her abilities, even as she struggles to overcome the guilt of her lover's death. Surrounded by vampires, witches and a devilishly handsome pack of werewolves, April needs to find friends in dark places if she hopes to survive.
