---------------- I don't own Gravity Falls but I do own Star. Anyways this story is going to be like normal Gravity Falls, with that same mysterious feeling. This is starting off from the end of season one and including some spoilers from Alex Hirsch. I am also including my own conclusions of these spoiler and a tad bit of my own opinion.

After a terrible car crash resulting in the death of their parents, 17 year olds Dipper and Mabel Pines are sent back to Gravity Falls to live with their Grunkles. Mabel now hates Dipper, and blames him for the crash, since they were only out getting him his anxiety medication. The Grunkles don't fully agree with Mabels logic, but are still distant with Dipper, for they think he's a freak because of his anxiety. And so in the one place he felt he could truly call home, Dipper was now alone and hated by the "family" that once loved him. One night, Dipper overhears the family talking about how useless he is and, doing the only thing he knows, he runs. A lost legend (Gravity Falls x reader)
Y/N comes to Gravity Falls after her parents aren't able to be there for the summer. Going to an old family friend's home to spend the summer she comes to realize not all is what it seems. There's a dark page on the journal Dipper shows her and not even Ford can explain what it is as it is. The constant feeling of being watched and feeling as if something major is going to happen. Unsure if it's a good change or not, Y/N tries to battle her way through it with her new friends. (It starts to get real from chapter 15, everything before is still important but a lot of you don't seem to have the patience to wait until things get more mentally challenging.) Well, he isolated himself and everyone around him didn't seem to notice. And being alone with one's thoughts doesn't usually end well for anyone, so how will it end up for Dipper? Shortly after their 3rd year of high school ends, their parents think they need some time outside the city, and they send them back to Gravity Falls for the summer. After being trapped in Dipper's mind, Bill realizes that maybe threatening and killing the boy wouldn't be as entertaining as manipulating him. After all, his family had set up the perfect board for him, all he had to do was move a few pieces. At some point that neither Bill nor Dipper could pinpoint, the two become obsessed (in different ways) with each other. Bill loved the dependency of Pinetree on him. And Dipper loved the attention he got from the triangle. In the end, things start to drastically shift in the teen's mind and his new best friend is there to guide him. Mabel isn't the best sister, but she tries. It's not like Dipper's the best brother either. They both have messed up ways of dealing with their trauma, but she doesn't realize just HOW messed up her brother has become. {Please note that this book contains graphic depictions of abuse, strangulation, trauma responses, and hospitalization trauma, along with dark humor, non-consensual medical treatment, death etc. Reader discretion advised.} (This may not be accurate - it is fanfiction.
