Let me tell you a story about a broken girl. This young girl lived with her happy family in a beautiful house in the suburbs of New York. One day the house caught fire. This girl was the only one to survive. But at a terrible price. 

This now teenage girl is angry at the world for letting her live while her family was dead. Now enter Carson.

This boy is not like other boys. No one else can see this girl the way he does. He will not be pushed away. And for some reason, he wants to be friends with her.

But this friendship is short-lived and opens this mending girl up to a whole new level of pain. Losing a friend.
