When Rachel McHue and her friend Liza O'bessel fall through a sinkhole in the park they discover a hidden world beneath the earth's crust where extraterrestrial human-like creatures design and painstakingly carve chunks of clay into 100 figures of a human, one figure for each year of that human's life.

While the two girls seek out their creators, they come across the notorious Rogue Carver, the creator of evil. Though he has been imprisoned, he is slowly scraping his way out of his stone cage. If he were to escape.... Let's just say it wouldn't be good.

And yet, that's exactly what happens. The girls must join forces with the Carvers to save their world, and all the unborn people waiting in patient lines for their turn to be brought to life.

Can the Rogue Carver be subdued? Or will the world and its future be consumed in evil?
