He didn't want them to know.

And it was worse than expected.

"Natsu...." Makarov paused, "Left the guild."
Shouts of joy rang out in the air.
"The demon's gone!"
"Good riddance!"
"He always was a monster!!"
"A devil!"
"A killer!"
"A psychopath!!"
"A hellhound!!"
"A villain."
People who knew Natsu well, knew he had never been any of those things. Gray, at the moment, didn't care so much. He had made up his mind. The next time he crossed paths with Natsu, the fire mage would die. So he joined in with the chanting. Battering Natsu with insults, as if they had never even known each other. Erza....Wendy....Elfman, and others, all stood by, watching with keen eyes, not interfering, not chanting, but not defending either. In their hearts they knew who Natsu really was... Not just some demon as others said he was. It was amazing how fear could change people so quickly, and set them against one another.
And Natsu....... was the victim.

Ever wish Lucy were more angry with Natsu once he returned? The fight on Tartaros is over, and Fairy Tail won the war. With Tartaros gone, the Black Wizard Zeref's demons destroyed, peace was restored to the world. But at what cost? The guild has disbanded, and everyone has gone their separate ways. Many wizards retired, others found work elsewhere, some joined new guilds, and the rest mourned what was lost. "This feeling between us? Tell me you feel it too." Her honey glazed eyes meet mine, and I pull her into me, embracing her small figure. Her face is glazed over with a blush and drying tears. "I've already told you what happens when you are assigned an angel." She sniffles her voice slightly laced with humor. "I will be punished." "Screw your laws." I whisper, no longer being able to contain myself. I can't help but enclose her lips with mine.
