The idea that she was the daughter of a greek goddess, and cursed as a child seems rather far fetched, and yet, here she was at Camp Half Blood, with a boat load of other kids with the same dilemma. When it gets to the point that Alex is looking at her insane life before camp as "the good ol' days", she tries everything in her power to shelter a certain guy named Leo Valdez from the ugly facts. With Leo constantly trying to help, for better or for worse, she must invoke in a quest to save the world from, well... herself.
