The use of energy and recourses is wearing on the earth. Humans will not survive if they keep doing what they are doing. And when a race gets on the verge of extinction, mutation will proceed. This creates a stronger and more adapt evolution of humans that do not need the same resources as before.
All across the world the mutation is slowly taking place. Men in their early twenty learn how to control the complete capacity of their brain. Giving them no need for cell phones or vehicles, but also the power to levitate, change and manipulate the world around them.

When Jeri wakes up in the middle of the night after having a weird vision like dream she discovers her eyes to be glowing. 
Having seen her own kidnapping in the dream she tries to understand why her eyes are glowing and the strange events happening around her. 
However when she is taken away by a man who's eyes are almost an exact copy of hers she learns that she isn't the only one with a gift.

Another one of their experiments but the only thing different about her was she was the success. She had been turned into a 'weapon of battle'. Though no one knew her potential..... Yet. She was abandoned after the MP's caught her captors. She could barely talk, she couldn't read or write. Hell, she could barely understand what other people were saying to her. Levi and Farlan found her walking down the street one day. She was dirty, her hair was matted with blood and dirt. Two teenage boys were kicking her around like a doll. Just so you know this y/n is emotionless and shows little to none interest in people. Since this is a fem reader I will be using she/her pronouns and give y/n female body parts. please enjoy the rest of this description. Actual description: Y/n, a girl with little to none emotions. Or at least they don't show. Her mind is dark and so is everything she says when she does talk. She refuses to speak unless she wants, or has to talk to someone. But when she does, people tend to find it creepy or they begin to fear her. She has a loving family, is an only child and has everything she could want. Makes you wonder why she is like this.... That's for another time though... After an... incident, at her other school, she is transferred to Nevermore Academy. Her father was an angel, her mother being a demon who has chosen to be good, fell in love and had y/n. Y/n is a hybrid because of this. Her demon side takes affect more than it should though. Her parents chose for her to go to Nevermore so she could be around other kids like her. Meaning other outcasts. Her parents want her to make friends. Or even someone to love. She is obviously not interested in this. She hates people. Why would she willingly talk to any of them. She sees no point in even making friends... I wonder why? What happens when she is roomed next to the most feared boy in Nevermore and with the happiest girl alive?
