Kalokagathia (n.) the good and beautiful in a person.

Who'd have thought that a simple night out at a seedy bar in the middle of Iowa would change the course of someone's life so much? Well, it did for two people, Cassidy Melora Ryann and James Tiberius Kirk. 
On her final night of her trip back to the academy, Cadet Ryann had skived off studying for her exams next semester to join her classmates at a downtown bar. Well, when they say downtown, they mean in the middle of nowhere. 

That was where they met. Two Starfleet Prodigies. 

Where they go from there is anyone's guess . . .

Jim Kirk sits at a bar, drowning himself in beer, hitting on girls, trying to forget. Little did he know, he would meet the girl who went through the same thing he has been through throughout his whole life. A young Vulcan named Spock searches space for his older brother, Sybok, who has been missing for almost 18 months. After his small ship is damaged he crashes - straight into earth. By some twist of fate he hits the middle of a farm in Iowa owned by young James T. Kirk. Curiosity for Spock overpowers Jim's fear of the Council and as the pair grow closer he begins to recall what his life was like before the tragedy that struck his life so many years before, leaving him completely alone. Maybe, just maybe, he doesn't have to be alone anymore.
