However, Cynder doesn't want to be evil, Galventer took notice of this and cast an evil forbidden spell on her and turned her into Dark Cynder. When Dark Cynder was sent on an assassination mission to eliminate the next Dragon Guardian, Spyro, she faced Spyro in a fight but Spyro could tell that Dark Cynder's real self was still inside her.
