Andromeda has been running her whole life. Running to Earth from Hell to watch the humans evolve, fight, and change the world around them. But she's seen love all around her, and the only person she's been in love with has been missing for a hundred years, and he's surely forgotten her. But still, she holds out hope, all the way from 1888 to modern day, that one day, she'll find her angel.
Castiel has regretted being torn from Annie for years. But when he's hunting in a small Vermont town with Sam and Dean, and they collide, Annie enlists the brothers to help her find the angel, and Cas, afraid of how she'll react, poses as an ordinary human and friend of the family. Not that being a hunter is ordinary, but for now, Cas waits in the shadows and watches his Annie move on while he deals with having to keep her secret just that.
