"When life gives you lemon through them back at life and threaten to kill his wife."
Was what Mafia Boss Dominic Gisavaldi grew up hearing from his father, legendary Carlen Gisavaldi So when a sudden death puts Dominic on the thrown, he's not phased when all the responsibilities and problems are passed to him he still not phased. So when the Family expects a Queen he is still not phased, what finally phases him is when the only person that comes to mind is Katrina "Kat" Valerino. The girl he's loved from a distance since the day she told him girls could do anything as good as boys.
"Life is short smile while you still have teeth."
Is what Kat Valerino grew up hearing from her now gone Grandmother. Meaning six feet under, as in a box that will never be open again, and if you still don't understand dead the grandmother is dead. Her grandmother however left her a few things to do, as in if you don't these thing I'm going to come back to life and kill you things. Kat being the lazy girl she is doesn't want to do it alone so she enlist in the help of her bestfriends and anybody she thinks can help AKA Dominic and all his resources.
But the thing is Kat isn't aware that the mafia actually exist or the fact that she is the prime candidate for a position that she isn't sure if she wants or not.
