"You know you want to say it." Jordan exclaimed, his voice deep and alluring. I looked up into his eyes and drew in a sharp breath after noticing our close proximity.
"Jordan, I can't..." Sweat was trickling down my arms as we spoke. It wasn't supposed to happen like this. I had a plan!
His eyes pierced holes through my own, and his voice went not only an octave louder but also deeper. "Say it, Talia. You've been in love with me since we met! Admit it, goddamn it. Why can't you say it?" He sighed, blowing out a sigh. I winced and after he noticed he ran a hand through his already messed up hair.
But it was still sexy. Why couldn't I do that and have the same outcome?
