teenage wasteland ;; the maze runner
" don't cry, don't raise your eye. it's only teenage wasteland."
she arrived just the same as everyone else. scared, confused, and lacking fifteen years of memories. the only difference, however, was the fact that she was a 𝘨𝘪𝘳𝘭.
nevertheless, florence made her mark. she learned pretty early on that every moment mattered, especially if she were trying to convince a group of boys that she, too, could be trusted. and helpful.
two years later, flo had proven to be just that. with her secured job as the keeper of the medjacks (and the self assumed role as sister of the glade), things should've started looking up. too bad that good things don't last forever.
after the death of their late leader, nick, and ben's mysterious day-stinging, florence was beginning to lose hope. that is, until a mysterious boy (and his comatose counterpart) arrived, flipping her beliefs upsidedown, sideways, and three-sixty degrees all with one scrap of paper.
"she's the last one. ever."
and so, along with the rest of the glade, it is time for florence to explore deeper within the maze. what else awaits them? awaits her?
