The Wind Keeper

Jackie has never been like other kids. Reason one: biggest. Geek. Ever. She is the classic, with glasses and freckles. But every boy would fall over her if she would just talk to them. Reason two; she only has her dad. Her mother died when Jackie was eight, so she only has a few memories of her. But almost all good. And the darkest reason of all of them:
She's a murderer.
Dad says it was an accident, but Jackie doesn't agree. Dad claims she didn't know how to control it, which, Jackie agrees with. Now she's afraid she won't ever be able control her powers.
