This story is about a high school teacher who has no one in the world getting in a car crash and put into a comma. While in the comma, he can hear and think clearly. No one visits him except one of his students who tells him her life story because she can't tell anyone else and she's heard about people in comma being able to hear what is said to them.

(Inspired by my own life story, well not completely) Senior year of high school is already starting off well for Tanner Gray, he's got his whole life planned out, and he can't wait to share it with his best friend and girlfriend. That is until he meets Autumn Blanchard, a shy and mysterious outcast he's known since Freshman year. When he finally talks to her, he learns the reason behind her odd behavior, she's diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome.
