Socially-awkward novelist Rebecca Thorne spends every morning in a little coffee shop, across the road from her chaotic London flat, drawing inspiration from the people around her and soaking up the atmosphere. But when one of her fellow customers is hit by a car, Rebecca has to make a few quick decisions that end up shaping her entire future.

From accidentally claiming to be someone's wife, to finding herself immersed in a world of secret agents and organised crime, Becca's ill-advised and often downright hilarious decisions often get her in heaps of trouble. And somehow, love.
