The year is 2070, unfortunately for pessimist Pomo and the rest of civilization, the sun has been demolished. Nobody actually knows what occurred and how the sun disappeared but all they discovered was a riddle left by the firey star. Democracy went downhill from that point in time and the states seperated into 20 different colonies. The only sun they can rely on is the domes lit with flame pits in each of the 20 sun states. Pomo's job is to save mankind and revive the sun by collecting each Sun Rock spread in each 20 states. The problem is Pomo doesn't know someone else is going after the rocks too. Heads up, I did not design this cover. I got it from YouTube on a Sonne meme video by Clay_ This is the first story I've ever written that I've actually intended for other people to read, so expect mistakes. I'm also looking for advice on how to improve this story like a beta reader, if you will. If you have a comment, criticism, or advice for me, please don't hesitate to post it as long as it's constructive. This story was inspired by the Solarballs YouTube channel. It will be different from the show's canon because it is an AU. There will be no ships because I think it's just weird to ship celestial bodies (no hate, just my opinion). All celestial bodies will also be genderless (but feel free to imagine them as whatever gender you want) because they're cosmic beings; why would they have gender? (Again, no hate) This story will focus on the Sun's backstory (with bits concentrating on other characters, namely other stars that helped shape Sun's character) because there is a disappointing lack of Sun-centric fan fiction. There will be both happy and angsty chapters (and a lot of headcannons), so prepare for a wild ride!
