Avery Matthews had always been a normal girl, she had a close group of friends all through high school, but could get along with everyone. Her best friends were four guys, Louis, Liam, Zayn and Niall, the five of them were never apart but that changed the summer before their senior year when Avery went to America to spend the year with her family. Coming back to England for college she was so excited to be back with her friends but it didn't go as planned. The boys turned on her and wanted nothing to do with the person they used to call their best friend. Things got worse when she ran into Eleanor Calder one day and Eleanor set it as her goal to destroy Avery's life. Things went according to plan..
Avery's life went from perfect to a living hell. She never thought she would fall as hard as she did. She was now scared of people, of everyone because no one ever offered her help. And she knew that fighting back was no use, so she took all the abuse.
Never did she think that someone would stand up for her, and when a tall stranger enters her life and tries to protect her she fights him. She never had the help before and didn't know what to do about it.
