Twenty years ago, a militaristic government party overthrow the current government. This group was known simply as Legend. Overtime they slowly took over the rest of the country starting first with Kanto then moving there way down. They developed corrupt laws and took away Pokemon from the common folk unless they agreed to join there army.
The world was run this way ever since. That is until an underground movement known simply as GO started. GO: Government Overthrow was a team formed by Professor Willow an ex scientist that once worked with Legend. With his two students Candela and Blanche they plan on overthrowing the government and taking back what was there's.
This is the World of Pokemon.

Willow's had to fight to get to where she is now. She doesn't need anyone telling her what to do or how to do it. Her life is perfect the way it is, but it's near impossible for her to fulfill her wants of keeping her independent lifestyle. Lupos - with their powerful packs and Alphas throughout the world - have the obvious social advantage over Volpes, but that doesn't stop the world from turning and the natural course of events to happen. Every shifter will eventually find and bond to a person who compliments them in every sense for no other reason than a cruel twist of their reproductive biology. With little to no conscious decision as to who their "mate" will be, two shifters - two strangers - are forced together, their fates forever intertwined because of a chance encounter. To many, this is seen as a blessing, but to Willow, a so-called "soul-mate" is the farthest thing from her mind. Will the sparks fly or will the fists fly when she realizes that a member of the very species she resents so passionately is her mate? How can a Lupo ever be with a Volpe when all they see each other as are the harmful stereotypes of their species? A year after Team LIAC (pronounced Lilac) was made, Lukas Lavender meets up with his sister's team. Team TEAL; after being followed around by Team LIAC for an unknown reason, find out many things about themselves, and the older students. After a large mission to rescue a lost relative of one of the members. The teams stop interacting entirely, spending their remaining years in Beacon, avoiding each other. Just as Team LIAC and a few older teams graduate, Beacon goes downhill with the assassination of headmaster Ozpin, Vale's president. The remaining teams? Instantly kicked out of the school, so that Beacon and Vale can find new leaders. Ash has just lost in the Indigo League, due to his Charizard's disobedience. As he and Pikachu are thinking things over by a lake, they are sure in for a nasty surprise. Betrayal. That's what, out of all possible scenarios, Ash never imagined that his own friends and family would betray and even try and kill him. Now though, Ash must rise above this and prove the traitors wrong, starting with redemption. He heads over to the Orange Islands for sanctuary and to start a new journey, a new start was just what he needed, with new friends, new Pokemon, and mysteries surrounding the Pokemon world.
