Following the events of Alien Isolation, the Pilot of Commercial Rescue Vessel Mallard, Seth Lambert is thrust into the wreckage of a prototype Mining vessel called "Titan", Seth soon discovers the horrors of what lies in wait out in the cold blackness of space. He and his crew are thrust into a fight to survive long enough to be rescued. However clues of incidents simliar to the one he's thrust into, divulge answers into the mystery surrounding his Mother's death aboard the USCSS Nostormo. Lambert must now must choose; survival or answers while avoiding creatures beyond anything in his worst nightmares.

Twenty years after the end of the Cyborg War, the last cyborgs try to hijack a starship on its way to terraform an alien world. They want the new colony to be a cyborg colony in which they will rebuild their strength and practice their way of life. The distant future. The war between androids and humanity has recently ended. The humans barely won, losing many technologies. A little time has passed, and a new threat has emerged. The emperor of one of the empires wants to enslave everyone, and the Republic of free planets is forced to enter the war. The Republic's scientists invent a new engine, but it needs a lot of gold. One of the ships of the free planets goes to a newly discovered, backward planet. It is inhabited by humans, but communication with other planets has long been lost, and the people have slipped into a feudal-slave system. The scientists on the ship can't directly show their presence because of the rules and decide to turn some crew members into gods so they can collect gold.
