Elle was living with her parents. She was fifteen, and had just confessed to her parents she was a lesbian.
Her parents were always very abusive, they would hit her and yell at her and just completely abuse her.
So on that morning, when Elle tells them about her sexuality, both of her parents start yelling and throwing things. Elle is sent to her room and told not to come out.
She packs her bag and jumps out of her window. She starts running. Not running to any place in particular, but just running. She sprinted in the other direction and she told herself not to stop until night.
