Nineteen years old and living with her mother, Marlene spends most of her time with her best friend, Alex. But what happens when her best friend has a secret? A secret she has to protect her from? Marlene is suddenly forced into a world she never knew existed full of Mythical Creatures and monsters, and finds out she might even be inhuman.
