Hinter sich zog er seinen lieblich Duft her und ich atmete ihn so tief ein wie ich konnte. Dann war alles von ihm verschwunden und ich war alleine.
Mustang ist überhaupt nicht davon begeistert, die Ferien über in einem Camp abgesetzt zu werden. Doch ihre Vergangenheit hat ihr Leben in den dunklen Krallen gefangen. Im Laufe der Zeit wird ihr bewusst, dass man ertrinken kann, auch wenn man atmet. Wenn die Eltern und die Umgebung einen drängt, bis man eines Tages jemanden trifft, der einen an Land zieht. Und das ist er, Shannon Krize. Doch Mustang weiß nicht, was das für Folgen haben wird und das tiefe Wasser sie wieder einholen wird.
