"Mom," I yell from my bedroom. Another shake takes me flying to my bed. "What's happening?" I run down the stairs and see my parents crying on the couch, watching the T.V. "Is IT happening?" 
"I'm so sorry sweetie," my dad says, sobbing "You don't deserve this." I plop myself next to my dad and hug him. 
"Mom?!" I shout. I don't realize that I am crying until I feel the tears drop on my hands. "What is happening?" 
"IT is happening," she says placing a hand onto mine "The end of Earth."All Rights Reserved

The early morning sunlight was irritating me to open my eyes and as usual being lazy I was rubbing my eyes to adjust with bright sun rays. My mom was calling me(i.e.. shouting) and I was trying to close my ears to stop hearing to her early morning lectures which is difficult to stop. I was going through this imagination when she suddenly entered into my room saying "Jassy what were you...." She stopped speaking and stared beside me disbelief and panic written all over her face and she just became mum and I was not understanding what she was exactly looking at and I followed her gaze only to find the half covered Rian(childhood friend of mine) sleeping peacefully with his mouth slightly open and I immediately got up from my bed only to get the another deadliest shock of my life and that is I am barely having any clothes and my mom looked at me and started calling dad "Mike... where are you? What are you doing? Come her soon" and while calling her tears escaped from her eyes and I too couldn't control my tears as I was unsure what I was seeing in front of me. As soon as my dad entered the room he was speechless to witness the scene in front of him. All this while I went to my wardrobe with my blurred vision due to tears and removed an oversized t-shirt and wore it only thinking that someone would come to my rescue to wake me up from this scary dream. "Brian... come out of your fucking dream world now" my dad shouted at Brian shaking his shoulder vigorously. "Good morning Uncle" Brian said as if he was unaware of the situation before him. Then he yawned and stretched his body and looked around and gave a confused look before fixing his gaze on me. I can say only one thing from his expression now.. He was horrified and got up in an instant to find himself in only an underwear. He looked at me and asked "How come I am sleeping in your room like this?" I was not understanding what to say as tears kept rolling onto my cheeks.

I couldn't stop trembling even more now. I calmed down a little more and checked my arm again. I was correct, I wasn't hallucinating. On my shoulder was a tattoo. It was a character of some sort-- in a different language. It looked like it was Chinese mixed with Islamic calligraphy. The skin around my arm was red and irritated. The symbol stuck out like a vein. I hyperventilated. I thought I was going to have a panic attack. I had to sit there, on my bed, and command myself to calm down. "I'm dreaming. I'm dreaming. This isn't real," I whispered. I checked the mirror again and searched all over my body to see if I had any other markings, but so far this was the only one. I shut my eyes, trying to force myself to wake up, but this was real. And for the first time, out of all the panicking, my vision went black.

Something bad always happens on her birthday and that year was the worst so far. On February 20/2020 at exactly 2:20 On the news they had let out the horrible announcement. Scientist's experiments had gone wrong. They call them the "Stone Devils". They were escaping from the labs and into our world. Made of stone and all male. Winged creatures that come into the night. Steal and kill their prey. That's what she heard but she didn't believe it until a few nights ago. (kinda like the movie Warm Bodies)

As I see my mom walk out the door I look at my dad smiling at me. The way he smiled at me made realize how afraid he was. I glance at him and give him a fake smile before he comes up to me and gives me a hug. The warmth of his body was reassuring but I feel the tears start to come down his face. I didn't want to lose him......ever. My dad Kevin who always is there by my side needed me there for him I glance at him and smile and he kisses my cheek. He whispers "Everything...will be alright." In a quiet tone I respond with an okay. I recall my mom saying before she left to me " I love you Samantha." It just replays and replays in my head "I love you Samantha." My oldest son just sat down in the couch with tears streaming down his face. I turned to look at my wife or should I say ex wife. She looked down at the floor with a few tear marks on her cheeks while holding our two other kids. "I'm sorry" I say dropping my bags and taking them off my legs to hug them. I went to sit next to my son and whispered in his ear "I never met to hurt you" after saying that I gave him a hug and ruffled his curly hair. I then went to my wife. "I'm sorry" I said kissing the tear marks, then her lips. I then kissed and hug my 3 year and 1 year old sons. "Daddy loves you" then grabbed my bags and left the house. I just couldn't take it anymore. I have to leave. (Yes I changed how I wanted to write this book. The original idea is still posted on my other books, if you want to see it aswell)
