This is about a girl named Shelby Kalabar, who playes softball for the Little League Kansas Yankees. She is the best of the best.
But one day, she is accused of murder of Emily Namahad, another softball player that plays on the Little League Virginia Red Socks, who was her rival. She is sent to court, and they say; "If you win the Little League World Series, then you will be free of murder."
