The Night We Came to Be
Your mind can adapt to such bizarre circumstances. It is a tool capable of extraordinary things, and in turn, it is an inevitable vulnerability in every person's system that can easily be provoked. A mind that can easily be conquered, the truest victim of pain. Despite this, it will continue to provide. It will sustain and ease. Always. For Darryl, it had been a struggle, separating the cruelty of life from his temple, his haven, his sanity. The burdens kept piling on and on, it felt as if there's no one else to turn to.
