Andra was thrown in jail for knowing about Octavia Blake and never telling anyone seeing as she was Octavia's only friend.
Murphy on the other hand is bad news. He was thrown in jail for setting the officer who floated his parents apartment on fire.
They both came down to earth not knowing that they would fall in love with each other.
