NOMA

My parents had their suspicions, I had mine, we all new I had some sort of extraordinary gift, a gift to be shamed upon, a gift that for some odd reason would be a disgrace to this family. Before they kicked me out of this home they had to be sure. I knew I was a Noma, I had a feeling, but I knew after I tried to find the gift that nobody would ever look at me like a human again. One day I asked my mom why I never went to school, why she never let her friends, her family see me. I knew why, I just wanted to see if she really knew why. But something as strong as this does not go un-noticed. She knew I was a Noma. So the day she didn't answer my question I sat in the backyard trying to find my talent, the one I inherited from my past life and the talent my past life inherited from him or her's past life. So I sat in the back and I did something, something I can't remember but from then on my mother never let me back in the house. I never even said goodbye.
I walked for the longest time my feet hurt, my back ached and I had a headache from all the sobbing. So I hid in a bush beside a house, I was so lucky the owner of this house, lived in this house. His name was mason. Mason was old, scrawny but spoke softly and soothingly he is wise. He came toward me, slowly and as soon as he came close enough he knew who I was, and by the way he looked at me I knew he was here to help.
