Hopleth has always had a bad life. Her father abuses her, and forces her mother to stand idle while doing so. What'seven worse: her father is the King. In a constant battle against her own mind, she runs away in hope of saving herself. Instead, she becomes wrapped up in love, and training to fight her own dad.
In this twisted take on a princess story, the princess must learn to take fate into her own hands. She must act fast in order to save her family from her fathers wrath of her leaving.

Zelink AU Medieval Fanfiction Zelda, currently Princess of Hyrule wishes to see the world outside of the castle. Her father expects her to marry one of the chosen suitors to prepare Hyrule's next King, but she doesn't like the sight of any of them. Link is a Hylian knight with a tragic past. Find out how a magical artefact becomes the centre of a grand plot of swords and shields! This story does not take place in any game in the timeline and uses all characters and items in unique ways. The interpretations of the characters are a bit different to how they are portrayed usually in the games. For instance, Link prefers bows to swords and Zelda doesn't go missing for half the story. Ganondorf is a master trickster, always telling lies to manipulate others into doing what he wants. Also, Ganondorf is a very active character who makes an appearance in almost every chapter. There is also always at least 1 fight per chapter so the action is constant! I hope you enjoy this story!
