This is the story of Undertale. Everything goes along perfectly normal like it does in the game, with Asriel and Chara meeting, they make the pie for their dad, he recovers from the flowers, Chara dies... Though there is a change. When Asriel goes to the surface to lay Chara's dead body on the flower bed in the middle of the human village, and he gets attacked, he turns back before he dies. (This is post-pacifist ending and an AU where Chara and Asriel don't die and Toriel and Asgore are never divorced.
