Asia Burke used to be an innocent naïve girl. That is, until her own mother abandoned her and framed her for a crime she did not commit. Now, after two years she's out of juvie as a changed person. She's ready to sail through foster care until she turns eighteen, but her plans are ruined when the father she had never known decides to take her in and be her dad. Now, tough, indifferent Asia is in an unfamiliar town with a man she hates trying to break down her walls and a half brother who will stop at nothing to make sure Asia doesn't get too comfortable in her new life. She almost wishes she had never left juvie.
