"I have a proposition," he says.

I snort, "Let's hear it."

"Be my girlfriend."

Before I could say anything, he continues.

"Be my girlfriend and I promise you, you won't regret it."

"And what do I get if I agree to this?" I ask challengingly.

After all, a princess has got to get her reward with her Prince Charming.

He smirks and shrugs, "Me."

{Ranked: - No #3 in chicklit -No #6 in lies -No #8 in cliché -No # 11 in player} Jaimie Perron left her old life in an rush, desperate for change before it's too late. A new school, new beginnings (or maybe not, in her case). Her life was easy. Now she is clinging desperately onto a last chance. The plan was to lie low. It turns out, disappearing into the background isn't as easy as it seems, especially with the school's "bad boy" distracted by you. Alden Wolff is a perfect cliché, waking up with - and swiftly abandoning - a different girl every weekend. But Jaimie, his new pursuit, isn't cooperating. Arrogance forces a bet further than expected, leaving him more than just curious about the mysterious girl who's always hiding: behind fake favours and calmly told lies.
