This story is about a 21 year old girl named Renée Peters, who lives with her uncle Joseph, a loving and kindhearted inventor. It's the year 1943, the Second World War. When her uncle is taken hostage by the government, she decides to test out her uncle's latest invention... the time machine.
It's the year 2016, Tristan Jacobs is a 22 year old boy, who works in a local bookstore. He wants to fall in love, but seems surrounded by boredom. He lives with his aunt Nicola, a gentle and daring high school teacher.
